Boo!

En voilà un projet qui m´a décu! 😦  Et ce à plusieurs niveaux (ben, oui, tant qu´à râter, autant le faire comme il faut! haha!) Venez, je vous explique…

Tout a commencé par la recherche d´un jersey gris souris pour la réalisation d´un ensemble bébé. L´avantage de se rendre en boutique, c´est qu´on peut voir et surtout toucher! Et bien là je devais avoir des gants… Je n´ai pas remarqué que ce jersey était vraiment très (trop!) fin et une fois rentrée… grosse déception!

J´ai quand même réalisé le petit pantalon prévu mais ce dernier n´avait aucune tenue! Résultat, il a fini à la poubelle.

Après réflexion, je suis partie sur un t-shirt pour mon fils (Skogsdjur – Ottobre 1/16). J´avais mis de coté ce motif d´extraterrestre que j´ai réalisé avec la Silhouette et je me suis dit que l´association gris foncé/vert fluo serait sympa. Et c´est le cas, non? Je trouvais ca mignon pour un petit garcon.

Je me suis appliquée aux finitions, (surtout les bas de manches), j´en étais très fière:

Or au moment de l´essayage… je me suis rendue compte que la tête ne passait pas!!! GGgrrrr!!!

J´ai donc coupé l´encolure, en ai refaite une juste en repliant le tissu (tellement decue que je n´avais plus envie de refaire du biais) et là… je vous donne dans le mille! Trop Grand! Ppppffffff!!!

Résulat final, le t-shirt a suivi le même chemin que le pantalon… 😦

THIS is a project which disappointed me! 😦  And at several Levels. Let me explain you…

Everything began with the search of a dark grey jersey for a baby set. The advantage of going in a shop is that you can see and touch the fabrics! Well, this day I must have had gloves… I didn´t notice that this Jersey was very (way too much!) thin and at home came the real disappointment!

I still realised the baby pants but this one had no form and finished in the bin!

After a bit of thought, I did a t-shirt for my son (Skogsdjur – Ottobre 1/16). I had this Alien that I realised with the Silhouette and I thought dark grey and neon green would make a good match. And this is the case, isn´t it? I found it cute for little boy.

I paid a lot of attention to the finishings (especially on the bottom of the sleeves) I was very proud:

But when I tried it on my son… I realised that the neckline was too tight!!! GGgrrrr!!!

So I cut it off and did it again just by falting the fabrics and there… just wait for it! Too large! Ppppffffff!!!

Final result, the t-shirt followed the pants in the bin… 😦
