Petit Jedi / Little Jedi

Que la force soit avec lui… Une amie m´avait commandé un tableau de naissance pour une de ses meilleures amies (ici) . Elle m´avait tellement complimentée que lorsqu´elle m´a appris qu´elle même était enceinte, je ne pouvais pas faire autrement que de lui en offrir un! 🙂

Le thème de leur faire part était, comme vous l´aurez deviné, Star wars!

Premier objectif, ne pas s´éloigner du style de leur petit Jedi. Je suis donc allée voir sur Internet si je pouvais retrouver l´image et là… BINGO! (danse de la joie).

Deuxième objectif, trouver une typo qui colle avec le thème. Je suis allée sur Dafont (site de typo gratuites) et là j´ai trouvé le mon bonheur ! C´est comme ca que j´ai pu écrire le titre de tableau.

Ne me restait plus qu´à vectoriser notre petit Jedi, faire le titre (Pfiou! heureusement qu´il y avait un mode d´emploi!) choisir les typos des autres éléments, les motifs, les couleurs… sans oublier le tissu! J´ai pioché dans mon stock et j´ai choisi un tissu noir irisé. J´ai eu peur que cela soit trop sombre mais après une simulation avec un fond plus clair, c´était définitevement celui-là. 😉

Je vous laisse voir le résultat final.

PS: J´aime particulièrement le rendu de ce flex metallisé utilisé pour le titre, pas vous?! (flex de Happy Fabric)

May be the force with him… A friend of mine ordered me a birth frame for one of her best friend (here). She complimented me so much when she say the result that when she told me she was pregnant, I could not do anything else than offer her one! 🙂

The theme of their birthday card was, as you guessed, Star wars!

First objective, keep the style of their Little Jedi. So I went on the web to see if I could find the original picture and.. BINGO! (fire dance).

Second objective, find a font that would match with the theme. I went on Dafont (free fonts on internet) and found there what I was looking for ! That´s how I wrote the title of the frame.

I now had to vectorise the little Jedi, make the title ( OMG! really relieved that instructions where there!) choose the fonts for the other elements, motives, colours… without forgetting the fabric! I picked in my stock and chose an iridescent black one. I feared it would be too dark but after a simulation with a lighter background, it was definitively it. 😉
