Oh la la! Cela va bientôt faire un an que je l ai cousu et toujours pas posté! 🙈 Il est temps que je rattrape cela… avant que le prochain anniversaire n arrive! Mon cher et tendre a en effet eu 40 ans cette année.
Comme beaucoup nés en début d année, les anniversaires en 2021 n ont pas pu être fêtés comme il se doit.
Néanmoins, je voulais marquer le coup avec quelque chose qui reste. Comme je sais que je couds très peu pour lui (et il s en est déjà plaint), je me suis dit que ca serait la bonne occasion!
J aime beaucoup les patrons de Pattydoo (facile a coudre, toujours avec des vidéos dispos et patrons pas chers). Je suis allée voir sur son site et j ai choisi le patron Max (certains comprendront également la 2e raison de mon choix! haha!)
J avais déjà acheté différents jersey sur internet (étant donné que les magasins étaient tous fermés, j ai commandé pour la première fois sur Amazon et la qualité était bien au RDV!) et plusieurs flexs sur Happy Fabric. J avais très précisément en tête ce que je voulais faire mais trouver les bonnes typos m a quand meme pris du temps! Heureusement que Dafont existe! Comme il y a une pré-visualisation, cela permet de faire des essais de son texte avant de choisir sa typo. Encore faut il trouver les bons mots clés pour trouver ce que l on cherche! 😅 Ca aussi ca a pris un peu de temps!
Bref! Pour le t-shirt je suis partie sur une taille M, j ai choisi des manches courtes, un col rond et de faire un rappel du col au niveau des manches
Pour le flex, je suis bien sûr partie sur des couleurs similaires avec du gris anthracite, de l argent pour faire ressortir le “Original since” et c est tout, puisque le blanc du “1981” est tout simplement le t-shirt! 😉
Le résulat a beaucoup plu mais… la prochaine fois je ferai coudrai une taille L pour plus “d aisance” 😂
Oh boy, it’s been almost a year since I sewed it and still not posted! 🙈 It’s about time I caught up with this…. before the next birthday rolls around! My sweetheart did indeed turn 40 this year.
As many were born at the beginning of the year, the birthdays in 2021 could not be celebrated as they should.
However, I wanted to mark the occasion with something that sticks. Since I know I sew very little for him (and he already complained about it), I figured this would be the right opportunity!
I really like the patterns from Pattydoo (easy to sew, always videos available and cheap patterns). I went to the site and chose the Max pattern (some of you will also understand the 2nd reason for my choice! haha!)
I had already bought some jersey fabrics on internet (since the stores were all closed, I ordered for the first time on Amazon and the quality was actually good!) and several sheets of flex on Happy Fabric. I really had in mind what I wanted to do but finding the right typos still took me a while! Thankfully Dafont exists! As there is a preview, it allows you to test your text before choosing your typo. Still, you have to find the right keywords to find what you’re looking for! 😅 That also took a little time!
In short! For the t-shirt I chose a size M, I chose short sleeves, a round collar and made a recall of the collar on the sleeve
For the flex, I went with similar colors with charcoal gray, silver to bring out the “Original since” and that’s it, since the white of the “1981” is simply the t-shirt! 😉
I really liked the result but… next time I will sew a size L for more “ease” 😂
