Comme mon 2e filleul allait fêter ses 1 an, j’ai voulu (normal!) lui coudre quelque chose.
Les parents étant fans de la Bretagne, de la mer, de la pêche (bon surtout monsieur 😉 ) et que madame travaille sur le Vendée Globe (yeah!), j’ai tout de suite flashé sur ce tissu ouaté. J’avais en tête une gigoteuse et le fait que le tissu soit déjà quilté (vous savez, les coutures en croisillons qui maintiennent la ouate à l’intérieur et qui fixent les tissus ensembles), et donc réversible, pas besoin de chercher un 2e tissu pour l’intérieur!
Me voilà donc partie dans la réalisation d’une gigoteuse de petit mousse en taille 1-18 mois. Patron déjà réalisé pour mon fils en 0-6 mois ici (patron gratuit de chez Perlipo)
Seule petite difficulté, étant donné qu’il n’y avait pas de 2e tissu, la fermeture éclair n’a pas pu être “prise en sandwich” entre les tissus. Du coup, j’ai du couper en bas les coins en tissus qui étaient très rigides pour que ca ne gêne/blesse pas le loulou.
Mais sinon très contente du résultat! 🙂
Because my second godson would be 1, I wanted (wait for it!) to sew something for him.
The parents being fan of Bretagne, the sea, fishing (ok, specially Mr. 😉 ) and Mrs was actually working on the Vendée Globe (yeah!), I totally loved this quilted fabric. I had in mind a baby sleeping bag and the fact that the fabric already had the inside and outside fabric got together, so reversible, I didn’t need to look for a second one!
So I made the sailor baby sleeping bag in size 12-18 months. Pattern that I already sew here for my son in 0-6 months (freebie from Perlipo)
The only small difficulty, because there was no 2nd fabric, I couldn’t hide the zip between them. So I had to cut the corners at the bottom so that it doesn’t bother/hurt my godson.
But except this point, I am really happy from the result! 🙂
