Oula! L´automne arrive, il faut absolument que je poste cet article quelque peu “estival” avant qu´il ne soit trop décalé! 😅

La dernière fois, j ai commandé des panneaux online (kathikunterbunt.de) et j´ai adoré un panneau de pirate tout mignon qui correspondait totalement à la phase du moment de mon fils. En effet, après Sam le pompier, il est passé aux pirates avec: lego, linge de lits, déguisement…

Vous allez me dire: “Mais qu´est ce que c´est que ca un panneau??”. Et bien il y a différents formats mais ceux que je préfère sont en fait plusieurs tissus coordonnés qui sont sur une seule et même laize, avec très souvent un gros motif. Cela permet (en fonction du tissu – jersey, sweat…) de fonctionner un t-shirt, un sweat, une veste, une housse de coussin, etc! En voilà un exemple que vous pouvez aussi retrouver ici:

L´avantage avec les panneaux c est que l´on a juste à penser à la coupe et pas à comment personnaliser ou “pimper” le vêtement une fois cousu! Pour le patron, je me suis arrêté sur le modèle Birthday Fish (Ottobre 3/2013) en taille 110 et voilà ce qui a rendu un petit bonhomme heureux 🙂

Heureusement qu´il me restait un peu de jersey rouge parce que sur ce patron, la partie dos revient un peu sur les épaules et je voulais souligner ce détail. Je pense que cela aurait fait bizarre sans démarcation. Après, j ai longuement hésité entre fil blanc ou rouge et j´ai choisi blanc mais je pense que rouge aurait été mieux. Ca serait pour une prochaine cousette! 🙃

You’re going to tell me: “What the hell is a panel?”. Well there are different sizes but the ones I prefer are in fact several coordinated fabrics that are on one and same width, with very often a big pattern. With this, you can create (depending on the fabric – jersey, sweatshirt…) a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, a jacket, a cushion cover, etc! Here is an example that you can also fin hier:

The advantage with panels is that you only have to think about the patter and not about how to personalize or “pimp” the clothe once it´s done! I stopped on the Birthday Fish model (Ottobre 3/2013) in size 110 and this is what made a little boy happy 🙂

Luckily I had some red jersey left because on this pattern, the back part comes back a little on the shoulders and I wanted to underline this detail. I think whithout, it would have looked weird. I hesitated for a long time between white or red thread and I chose white but I think that red would have been better. well, next time! 🙃
