Sweat Ottobre Lizard

L’année dernière, ayant cousu les vestes Kimono pour la naissance de mon 2e filleul (ici), j’ai eu envie de coudre quelque chose pour mon 1er filleul à l’occasion de ses 7 ans.

J’avais en tête un sweat mais encore fallait -il savoir si cela lui plairait! Et si oui, plutôt capuche? pas capuche? zippé? pas zippé? ainsi que ses dimensions! (oui il est trèèèès grand pour son âge!)

J’ai donc passé un petit coup de fil à mon amie pour lui demander. Résultat : sweat à capuche zippé 🙂

J’avais déjà commandé ce sweat molletonné sur lequel j’avais flashé  (vous aussi vous avez l’impression que je fonctionne beaucoup aux coups de cœurs?! haha)

J’avais déjà sélectionné quelques modèles pouvant être cousu pour mon filleul, il ne me restait qu’à faire le modèle correspondant, ce fut donc le Lizard, en 128!

Un vrai plaisir à coudre, aucune difficulté rencontrée!

Le gros stress est arrivé lors de l’ouverture du paquet… est ce que ca allait lui aller??? Et bien je dois dire que j’aurai dû rallonger les manches parce qu’elle étaient vraiment justes… Je ne pense pas qu’il l’ait porté longtemps… Mais bon! Je le sais maintenant alors la prochaine fois il sera parfait! 🙂

Last year, because I sew the kimono vests for the birth of my second godson (here), I wanted to sew for my first godson for his 7th birthday.

I had in mind a sweatshirt but I needed to know if it would please him! And if so, if he wanted a hood or not? a zip or not? and I also needed his dimensons! (yes, he is veeeery tall for his age!)

So I called my friend and asked her. Result : hooded sweat with a zip 🙂

I’d already ordered this sweatshirt fabric on which I had a crush (do you also noticed that I work on “crushes”?! haha)

I had already make a selection of potential patterns in my Ottobre magazines for my godson so I just needed to pick the corresponding pattern, it was the Lizard, in 128!

A real pleasure tu sew, I met no difficulties!

The big stress came actually when he was to open the present… will it fit him??? And I must say that I should have make the sleeves a little longer because there were kinda “just”… I don’t think he wore it a long time… but I know it now and the next one will be perfect! 🙂
